The gold key for me is minimalism. It doesn’t mean living without anything. It means making sure that everything I own and use is put to its maximum purpose and that I cut out anything unnecessary.

Optimism, energy, and enthusiasm makes everything happen. The impact of a positive approach is severely underrated. We have a lot of passion and optimism. Projects are bound to succeed.

Why is it important for you that European Energy is a driving force in the green transition?
Speaking from a procurement perspective, we mainly use local and sustainable suppliers and partners. There are many benefits to sourcing local goods including improving our business’s environmental impact – trucks don’t have to travel as far. Shorter distances mean less CO2 emissions.

It’s also a great way to take advantage of the opportunities available in our local area. There are a lot of local business which have developed products or solutions our company needs.

What are the best things about your colleagues?
I absolutely adore my team and the respect that we all have for one another. It is fun coming to work with happy people who love where they work, and I see smiles everywhere I turn. Having a well-put-together team starts from the top and I’m so fortunate to have such an amazing leadership.

It’s a great work environment, where people are young, open-minded and have many opportunities to grow and learn new things in their field of work. People genuinely enjoy being there. Every company is a work in progress, but European Energy really does strive to do better in any way they can.
