European Energy sells wind farm to Aquila
Aug 24, 2017
European Energy sells a wind farm in Denmark to Aquila Capital, a German alternative investment manager. The park consists of 7 Vestas turbines and has a total capacity of 25 MW. The park produces power corresponding to the consumption of 28.500 households.
European Energy took over the project in 2013 from Dong, who originally owned the project, but left onshore wind before the park was build. European Energy succeeded in constructing the park with a new upgraded generation of Vestas turbines. The park was grid connected in March.
Knud-Erik Andersen, CEO of European Energy, says: “We took over the project in 2013 from Dong who decided to leave onshore wind. I am very pleased that we have successfullymanaged to build the park, and that Aquila Capital has now taken over. We will continue to manage the park on behalf of Aquila Capital”
