Today, European Energy A/S has completed the divestment of a wind farm in Denmark with a total capacity of 22.4 MW to a German alternative investment manager.
The wind farm is located in the municipality of Ikast-Brande, Denmark. The wind farm was commissioned in early 2018 and consists of a total of 10 Siemens 3.2 MW turbines. The buyer has acquired 7 turbines, while the remaining three turbines will remain in the ownership of European Energy A/S.
“This sale provides a strong finish to the year. We continue to experience high interest among institutional investors for our projects,” said CEO of European Energy, Knud Erik Andersen.
European Energy still expects to deliver an EBITDA of EUR 40-45 million and a profit before tax of EUR 30-35 million in 2019.
