Today, Carsten G. Jensen was appointed Director for EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) at European Energy A/S. Carsten G. Jensen joins the Danish developer and power producer from a position as CEO of Dansk Gas Distribution A/S. Previously, he has held several executive management positions at Danish TSO Energinet.
At European Energy A/S Carsten G. Jensen has been tasked with the development and building of an EPC-organization, which will be capable of constructing 1 GW renewable capacity annually – in line with the company’s aspiration.
“It is a privilege to be part of the green transition of the energy sector. I am looking forward to use the knowledge and experience I have gained through my 30 years in the energy sector and to establish an organization that can construct 1 GW in different markets every year. European Energy A/S has always been good at constructing plants quickly and efficiently. We will use that capability in the future, as we strive to construct 3-4 times as much capacity every year” said Carsten G. Jensen.
53-year-old Carsten G. Jensen has a degree in civil engineering from Aalborg University, and has supplemented it with leadership training from INSEAD. Carsten G. Jensen is married and has two grown up children.
