Copenhagen, Denmark, 19th of June, 2026 – European Energy has entered into an agreement with solar construction company Solar Polaris to provide Operations & Maintenance services for a solar park in Bredebro, Denmark.
The agreement covers technical operations and maintenance services for the 70 MW solar park, including remote monitoring, reporting, maintenance coordination and on-site repair services. The scope includes both preventive and corrective maintenance activities aimed at supporting stable performance, operational reliability and optimisation of the facility.
The services will be delivered through European Energy’s in-house asset management and operations business unit, which manages renewable energy assets across multiple markets in Europe and beyond.
The Bredebro solar park is among the larger solar installations in Denmark and forms part of the continued expansion of corporate-backed renewable energy projects in the country.
Jacob Saust Johansen, Executive Vice President and Head of Asset Management & Operations at European Energy, said:
“As renewable energy portfolios continue to grow in size and complexity, asset owners increasingly require specialised operational expertise to maximise performance and availability. Through our in-house asset management and operations organisation, we provide technical and operational services designed to support long-term value creation for renewable energy assets.”
European Energy has expanded its asset management and operations & maintenance activities in recent years alongside the growth of renewable energy capacity across Europe. The company provides technical and commercial services across a portfolio of renewable energy assets, including solar and wind projects.
“We are pleased to partner with European Energy on the operation of the Bredebro solar park. Through our management of approximately 150 rooftop solar installations, we have built a strong foundation in operations and maintenance. However, as Solar Polaris has expanded into utility-scale solar parks, the requirements for operational scale, specialised expertise and long-term asset optimisation have increased significantly,” said Karsten Hillmann, Managing Director at Solar Polaris and continues,
“Partnering with European Energy allows us to combine our EPC capabilities with a proven O&M platform to ensure strong performance and cost-efficient operations. The Bredebro project marks the beginning of what we hope will be a broader collaboration. Having recently delivered another 50 MWp solar park and with a 115 MWp project under construction for commissioning in autumn 2027, we see strong opportunities to expand our cooperation and continue creating long-term value for asset owners.”
European Energy’s operations and maintenance services include monitoring and operational support designed to optimise plant availability and coordinate maintenance activities throughout the operational lifetime of renewable energy assets.
