European Energy divests 21 MW Polish wind project

Sep 30, 2026

European Energy has agreed to divest the 21 MW Myślibórz onshore wind project in Poland to TAURON.

  • European Energy agrees to divest the 21 MW Myślibórz onshore wind project to TAURON
  • The six-turbine project has been developed by European Energy and is ready to move into construction
  • The transaction reflects European Energy’s strategy of recycling capital into its growing renewable energy pipeline

Copenhagen, Denmark, 30th of September, 2026 – European Energy has entered into an agreement with TAURON for the sale of the 21 MW Myślibórz onshore wind project in north-western Poland.

Under the transaction, TAURON will acquire 100% of the shares in Myślibórz Wind Farm sp. z o.o., the project company holding the rights to the wind farm.

European Energy has developed the project and prepared it for construction. The transaction reflects European Energy’s business model of developing renewable energy projects and bringing in long-term owners at different stages of the project lifecycle.

“Developing projects and bringing in long-term owners is an important part of European Energy’s business model. The divestment of Myślibórz allows us to realise the value created through the development of the project and recycle capital into new renewable energy projects across our markets,” said Jens-Peter Zink, Deputy CEO of European Energy.

The Myślibórz wind farm will consist of six Vestas V126 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 3.5 MW, for a total installed capacity of 21 MW.

Once operational, Myślibórz will add new renewable generation capacity to the Polish electricity system and become part of TAURON’s renewable energy portfolio.

“We have built a strong pipeline of high-quality renewable energy projects in Poland across several technologies and at different stages of development. Myślibórz is one example of the quality of that pipeline, and we see good opportunities to continue developing projects that can contribute new renewable energy capacity to the Polish market,” said Olga Sypula, VP and Regional Manager for Central Europe at European Energy.

European Energy has previously divested renewable energy assets in Poland. In 2025, the company sold a portfolio of six operational wind farms in north-western Poland to Enea Nowa Energia. The portfolio had a combined installed capacity of 83.5 MW.

Divesting projects at different stages of development and operation enables European Energy to recycle capital into its pipeline of new renewable energy projects. European Energy continues to develop projects in Poland across onshore wind, solar PV, battery energy storage and Power-to-X.
